Penugonda is a village and Mandal in West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh, India [1] and is under the Assembly constituency of
West Godavari District Achanta.
Penugonda is famous for
Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari temple, which is the most important for Vysyas Arya community temple. The other famous temple here is Sri Nagareshwara Swamy temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. A unique feature of this temple is that it containes two bulls (Nandi) before the Lord (Normally, there will only be one bull before the Lord).
